7 Tbsp. water
2 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil
1 1/2 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
2 tsp. dried oregano
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. minced garlic
1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes, undrained
1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl; stir with a whisk.
Yield: 2 2/3 c. (serving size: 1/4 c.)
